Refrigerant R32 (difluoromethane – CH2F2) Filling weight 780g 1 L

A homogeneous refrigerant from the HFC group with a low global warming potential factor (GWP) of 675 (for comparison: R410A has a GWP of 2088).

Characterized by its good thermodynamic properties, e.g. a very high heat of vaporization and large volume cooling capacity.

R32 is a low GWP refrigerant, which makes its carbon footprint lower than that of most HFC gases. Popular applications of R32 are industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems for homes and offices. Due to its high operating pressure, it requires appropriate design solutions. It is used in air conditioning systems designed for this refrigerant. It is considered an efficient refrigerant for low-temperature applications. In addition, R32 can be used as a replacement for R410a in some cases.

The bottle has an ACME 1/2" left-hand thread connection including Schrader valve.

Authorization to handle refrigerants: Persons who have the necessary expertise in accordance with EC Regulation No. 842/2006, Articles 3, 4 and 5 (1) or Section 5 of the Chemicals Climate Protection Ordinance - ChemKlimaschutzV are authorized to handle refrigerants. By purchasing a refrigerant, you confirm that you are knowledgeable in accordance with the above regulations (ChemKlimaschutzV & EC Regulation No. 842/2006) and that the refrigerant is being used by a knowledgeable person.

From January 1st, 2015, according to the new F-Gas Regulation (EC) 517 - 2014, refrigeration and air conditioning specialists must prove that they are authorized to purchase refrigerants that contain fluorinated greenhouse gases by presenting either the personal certificates of their employees or the company certificate. Otherwise, no refrigerants may be delivered.

Dealers are exempt from this obligation; they only need to provide a declaration to the supplier of the refrigerant that the refrigerant is only used as a commercial product. However, there is again an obligation to obtain the relevant certifications from the respective customers.

Manufacturers of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment are also exempt from the need for certification. However, in this case too, a corresponding declaration regarding the activity as a manufacturer is necessary in order to obtain the refrigerant.

Ein Austreten von 1 kg dieses Kältemittels hätte somit eine dem GWP-Wert des Kältemittels entsprechend größere Auswirkungen auf die Erderwärmung als 1 kg CO2, bezogen auf hundert Jahre. Keine Arbeiten am Kältekreislauf vornehmen oder das Gerät zerlegen – stets Fachpersonal hinzuziehen.
