Renewable technology: the use of renewable energies

A heat pump is a device that converts energy from air, earth, and water into heat for useful purposes. This conversion occurs through an advanced refrigeration cycle. In other words, it refers to the technology of heat transfer from renewable energy sources such as air. The energy required to generate the necessary heat is one-quarter compared to boilers using conventional fossil fuels, gas, or oil; the remaining three-quarters comes from renewable energy sources.

The LG THERMA V Monoblock combines the indoor and outdoor units into a single unit. Therefore, no refrigerant piping is required. The monoblock outdoor unit is connected only via water lines. Furthermore, additional water-side components such as the plate heat exchanger, expansion tank, and water pump are housed in a single enclosure.

High heating performance even at low temperatures

The R32 monoblock offers excellent heating performance, especially at low ambient temperatures. The heating performance of the R32 monobloc at low ambient temperatures has been improved by more than 20% compared to the R410A models.

Compressor R1

To achieve high efficiency and reliability, a new type of scroll compressor was used. Compared to conventional scroll compressors, this type of compressor is more advanced. The tilting motion of the scroll unit has been particularly improved. Furthermore, the compressor's operating range has been expanded compared to the previous model.

Setting before installation:

Installers can use the LG Heating Configurator to preset the system using the installation site information and save the data to a memory card from the office. Once at the site, installers simply insert the memory card into the back of the remote controller to activate the configuration data. This enables effortless and quick commissioning for installers.

In the event of a complaint, proof of proper installation by qualified specialists (certified contractors and special qualifications) must be provided. Failure to provide such proof will void any warranty and guarantee.

Refrigerant leaks contribute to climate change. Refrigerants with a lower global warming potential (GWP) contribute less to global warming in the event of a leak than those with a higher global warming potential (GWP). A leak of 1 kg of this refrigerant would therefore have a greater impact on global warming than 1 kg of CO2 over a 100-year period, proportional to the refrigerant's GWP value.
