Refrigerant leaks contribute to climate change. Refrigerants with a lower global warming potential (GWP) contribute less to global warming in the event of a leak than those with a higher GWP. A leak of 1 kg of this refrigerant would therefore have a greater impact on global warming, proportional to the refrigerant's GWP value, than 1 kg of CO2, over a period of one hundred years. Do not attempt any work on the refrigeration circuit or disassemble the unit – always consult qualified personnel.
